Lichen planus or Wilson's lichen is an itchy rash that can appear on any area of the body however often favours the inside of the ankles, lower legs and the wrists, back, and neck.
The mouth, hair and nails and genital region are also affected in some individuals. The period of discomfort from this can be from months to years. The mostly troubled age group is that between 30 and 60, children and the elderly seldom suffer from it though it’s not impossible.
This condition appears as shiny, flat-topped bumps and are of a reddish-purple colour with a shiny cast. Lichen planus looking similar to psoriasis is often mistaken for it. However, different psoriasis, lichen planus is not known to run in families and its onset has no relation to stress.
Usage: apply the oil directly into irritating itching areas twice daily.
